Head-on collision shuts down S.R. 21

A traffic accident in Keystone Heights, which witnesses said was a head-on collision, closed the S.R. 21 bridge for more than 1.5 hours on July 8, forcing commuters to take detours.

According to Clay County Fire Rescue, one individual was transported to the hospital as the result of the accident, which occurred at approximately 3:31 p.m.

It is currently unknown what factors contributed to the crash.
