Heeder announces run for clerk’s office

The following is an announcement of intention to seek public office paid for by the candidate.

Lisa Heeder

Hello everyone! My name is Lisa Terry Heeder, and I’m running for Starke City Clerk to continue my efforts to serve you.

During my eight years with the City, I have built and maintained strong relationships with two City Clerks, nine City Commissioners, and dozens of City employees, working with everyone to assure the financial health of the City. I have interacted with hundreds of City residents, and I’ve heard your concerns, helped resolve issues, and worked to make sure your customer service experience exceed your expectations.

I have served as the Secretary for the Bradford Riding Club. As a nine-year member of First Baptist Church in Starke, I serve as a greeter, a Vacation Bible School volunteer, and in the nursery. I’m also the Church Clerk and I serve as Secretary for the Kiwanis Club of Starke. However, one of my greatest accomplishments was serving as a 4-H Leader for four years, where our amazing Bradford Hoofbeats Club kids brought 16 state ribbons back to Bradford County!

All these opportunities have helped our community, but my drive and dedication is to you and the City, making sure we continue to be successful as we move forward. Our office works daily to secure grants and build programs to ensure the financial health of the City. With your support and your vote, I can remain in the position and provide continued dedication to you, our residents.

Lastly, I invite you to learn more and join me for “Coffee and Conversations” at the Call Street Cafe on Call Street on Saturday, July 12, Saturday, July 26, and Saturday, August 9, from 8 a.m. until 10 a.m. each morning. Come out, ask questions, and enjoy breakfast here in our city. Thank you!
