Hubbard has 16-16 double-double in KH girls win over Duval Charter

Daisy Hubbard scored 16 points and grabbed 16 rebounds in a 44-14 win for the Keystone Heights High School girls basketball team on Jan. 15 at Duval Charter.

McKinlee Kirkland scored 13 points, while Kadence Massey had eight points, nine rebounds, eight of the team’s 11 assists, three steals and one block.

Melissa Williams added two points, while Alexandria Papaioannou had one point.

It was the fourth win of the season for the Indians, who then lost 41-30 to visiting Baldwin on Jan. 17.

Keystone got solid efforts from Massey and Riley Shuford, with each scoring eight points. Massey added eight rebounds, three assists and three blocks, while Shuford also had four rebounds, four steals and two blocks.

The Indians host Middleburg on Tuesday, Jan. 28, at 6 p.m. and end the regular season with a home game against Hope Christian Academy on Friday, Jan. 31, at 6 p.m.
