Sarah Siebert and Kamryn Eatmon had 15 and 14 kills, respectively, as the Keystone Heights High School volleyball team defeated host Union County 3-1 (19-25, 25-22, 25-19, 25-15) on Sept. 20.
The Class 4A Indians (9-5) got 42 assists from Kori Jennings, while Riley Barry had eight kills and five blocks. Jules Padgett led the team in digs with 14, while Kiersten Shaw had 10 to go along with seven kills.
Kadence Carlton and Sammi Potter had seven and six digs, respectively, for Keystone, while Taylor Marquart recorded a team-high four service aces. Eatmon and Carlton each had three aces.
Union, which is ranked ninth in Class 1A, was led by Jaycee Davis’ 26 digs, 13 kills and five aces. Emily Wilson had 12 digs and nine kills, while Kamryn Southerland had 13 digs and 10 assists.
The Tigers (10-5) also got 10 digs from Jurney Crim and 11 assists from Jordan Hendricks. Rylie Parrish added two blocks.
