Indians record another sweep, are 3-0 in volleyball

Kori Jennings had 18 assists and almost reached double figures in kills as well for the Keystone Heights High School volleyball team, which defeated host Newberry 3-0 (25-11, 25-21, 25-16) on Aug. 30.

The Indians (3-0) have swept every opponent so far this season.

Jennings led the team in kills with nine, while Kamryn Eatmon had eight.

Riley Barry and Sarah Siebert were strong at the net with six and four blocks, respectively.

Jules Padgett led the team in digs with 13. She and Kadence Carlton shared the team lead in service aces with three.

Keystone hosts Bolles, the state runner-up in Class 4A last season, on Thursday, Sept. 1, at 7 p.m. The junior varsity teams will play at 6 p.m.
