Ella Hutchins and Kiersten Shaw each scored two goals as the Keystone Heights High School girls soccer team defeated third Williston 5-0 in the semifinals of the District 4-3A tournament on Jan. 31.
The second seed Indians (19-4) also got a goal from Alee Horton, while Madeline Sweezy recorded an assist.
Goalkeepers Aspen Krohn and Miranda Yow made six and three saves, respectively.
Keystone now plays top seed P.K. Yonge for the championship on Thursday, Feb. 2, at 7 p.m. at P.K. Yonge. The Blue Wave (11-4-1) advanced by defeating fifth seed Trinity Catholic 8-0.
This will mark the fourth straight year the Indians and P.K. Yonge have played each other for the district championship. The Blue Wave won all three of those matchups by scores of 8-0 (2022), 6-0 (2021) and 4-0 (2020).
P.K. Yonge has either been the champion or runner-up in its district in each of the last eight seasons.
