During Union County’s Spring scrimmage against Charlton County, Georgia, an interception by Wyatt Elixson and a 35-yard touchdown catch by Alec McClelon just before halftime marked the high points of the trip for the Tigers.

McClelon’s score was initially erased because an official called offensive pass interference on the junior wide receiver.

However, the public address announcer at Champ Bailey Stadium in Folkston, Georgia, announced that the flag had been waved off, and the touchdown was good.

Then, the referee walked over to Tigers Head Coach, Andrew Thomas, and told him the penalty was not waved off, and that the coach’s offense would reset its drive on its own 35.

Under the scrimmage’s first half rules, each team ran two offensive series of 10 plays, with a turnover or touchdown resulting in a reset for the offense until the team with the ball exhausted its 10 snaps.
