Riverside scored 23 points each in the first two quarters en route to handing the Bradford High School junior varsity boys team a 60-28 loss on the final day of action at the Lake Area McDonald’s-Kiwanis of Starke Christmas Basketball Tournament on Dec. 18 at BHS.

Bradford (0-4) went 0-3 in the tournament.

Three-pointers by Race Black and Mattox Burgin helped the Tornadoes stay close early, but the Generals outscored Bradford 14-5 to close out the first quarter.

Points were hard to come by for the Tornadoes. Burgin made three three-pointers to score nine of Bradford’s 17 first-half points.
