Keystone boys drop golf match against P.K.Y.

The Keystone Heights High School boys golf team lost a match against P.K. Yonge on Sept. 5 at the University of Florida’s Mark Bostick Golf Course.

Keystone (2-3) had a team score of 172, which left the Indians trailing P.K. Yonge by four strokes.

Ty Mitzel placed second with a score of 40, which put him five strokes behind the Blue Wave’s Katelyn Huber. Mitzel had a birdie and made par on four holes.

Nate Bardier and Jacob Beach tied for fourth, each shooting a 44. Bardier had a birdie and made par on two holes, while Beach made par on three holes.

Konner Kelly, who made par on two holes, finished in a three-way tie for sixth with a score of 48.

Will Begue and Hunter Sheppard placed ninth and 12th, respectively, with scores of 49 and 56. Each made par on one hole.
