Keystone Heights Celebrates the Season at 54th Annual Christmas Parade

The 54th Annual Keystone Heights Christmas Parade, hosted by the Lake Region Kiwanis of Keystone Heights and Melrose, took place on Saturday, December 13th. It was a spectacular event.

This year’s theme, “Centennial Wonderland,” featured 44 entries and had 12 winners. Each participant showcased their original and creative work.

Categories of awards are as follows: 

1st Place Judges’ Choice – New Grace Baptist Church

1st Place Best Business Entry – North Florida Christian Camp

1st Place Best Marching Unit – Keystone Heights Jr. High Marching Band

1st Place Most Original – Clay County 4-H / Southern Charms Rabbit 4-H Club

1st Place Closest to Theme – Keystone Heights Sports Association

1st Place Best Youth Entry – Keystone Heights Jr. High Cheerleaders

2nd Place Judges’ Choice – Clay Electric

2nd Place Best Business Entry – Stumphead Stump Grinding

2nd Place Best Marching Unit – Keystone Heights Jr. High J.R.O.T.C.

2nd Place Most Original – Cub Scout Pack 187

2nd Place Closest to Theme – Lake Hill Baptist Church

2nd Place Best Youth Entry – Boys and Girls Club Keystone Heights

The parade concluded with Santa Claus riding the Funtastic Fire Brigade firetruck. Afterward, attendees enjoyed hot cocoa, cookies, and photos with Santa at Hatch Realty.
