Friends of Keystone Heights, Florida. Inc., the nonprofit organizing the city’s 2025 centennial celebration, is now selling calendars and T-shirts to raise awareness of the year-long event and funds for the group’s other activities.
Director Deirdre Murphy told her colleagues that some area merchants are selling the calendars.
She added that after the group marketed their wares during the city’s July 4th celebration, it has sold out of extra-large shirts and is reordering the size.
The group also discussed sponsorship opportunities for the centennial, proposing memberships ranging from $100 to $2,500.
Committee members also closed in on booking bands for the centennial’s kick-off party, authorizing contract negotiations with the headliner: Duval County Line. Two additional groups are slated to perform: The Ben Carter Band and Second Chance Band.
