KH council picks 4 finalists for clerk

The Keystone Heights City Council named four finalists for its clerk position during a special council meeting last week. The incoming clerk will essentially function as the assistant city manager and will be trained to lead the city’s staff if current manager Lynn Rutkowski decides to depart.

The finalists who will be interviewed are:

Desiree Durrenberger, an administrative assistant with Keystone Heights’s First Baptist Church. The 2005 Fort White High School graduate also worked at Watson Realty in Gainesville and O2B Kids College in Gainesville.

Stephanie Silva is a senior deputy clerk at the Clay County Clerk’s Office. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Arkansas State University and has experience at the Alachua County Clerk’s Office.

U.S. Marine Corps veteran Corey Williams owns Superior Moves Records LLC in Gainesville. He has also worked as a broadcast engineer for TV20 News and as an accounting coordinator for Cox Media in Gainesville.

Beau Wright has experience as an assistant store manager at Home Depot, as an account manager, construction manager, and branch manager at landscaping company Austin Outdoor, in addition to positions at other landscaping concerns.
