KH girls hoops team rolls to 26-point win over visiting Baldwin

Visiting Baldwin was no match for the Keystone Heights High School girls basketball team, which won its fourth straight game by a score of 41-15 on Dec. 9.

The Indians (7-2) got 13 points and 10 rebounds from Kiley Channell, while Dezaray Bright had 12 points, 15 rebounds and four steals.

Channell is 12 points away from reaching 1,000 for her career.

Rexi Lewis scored four points, while Kaitlin Brown and Yasmin Bryant each had three. Alana Anderson, Erabelle Conant and Jaynell Hill each added two points.

Keystone entered the game off a 47-12 win at Union County on Dec. 5. Channell had 15 points, six rebounds, five assists and four steals, while Bright had 14 points, 14 rebounds and four assists.

McKinlee Kirkland scored nine points, while Anderson and Bryant each had three. Lewis chipped in two points, while Conant had one.

Brynn Creekmore had three steals.

The Indians played Middleburg this past Monday (Dec. 12) and will travel to play District 5-4A opponent Eastside on Thursday, Dec. 15, at 6 p.m. Keystone hosts Palatka on Monday, Dec. 19, at 7:30 p.m. and travels to play Wildwood on Tuesday, Dec. 20, at 7:30 p.m.
