KEYSTONE HEIGHTS- Gov. Ron DeSantis appointed Steven Schoeff to the Florida Building Code Administrators and Inspectors Board.
The board certifies the state’s code administrators, plans examiners and building code inspectors.
Schoeff, of Keystone Heights, is currently the building official for the Clay County Board of County Commissioners. He has over 25 years of experience as a building inspector and is a member of the board’s code interpretations committee.
DeSantis also appointed Charles Howe of Gainesville, Jane Decker of Miami, Mark Grenier of DeLand, Alexander Hernandez of Coral Springs and Peter Ringle of Lake Worth to the board.
The appointments are subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate.
