Austin Smith hit a walkoff, three-run homer as the Keystone Heights High School baseball team defeated third seed P.K. Yonge 12-0 in five innings in a District 4-3A tournament semifinal game on April 30 in Keystone.
The second seed Indians (20-7) got a complete game from pitcher Gage Barry, who allowed just one hit and two walks, while striking out six.
Keystone will travel to Ocala to play top seed Trinity Catholic (11-11) for the championship on Thursday, May 2, at 7 p.m.
The Indians scored six runs in the first two innings in defeating P.K. Yonge (17-8).
Alex Addington reached on an error to lead off the bottom of the first, followed by a Connor Guy double. Smith and Tallon Campbell each drove in a run on a ground out and a single, respectively.
Keystone had one on with two outs in the second when Addington singled. Guy then hit a two-run triple. Austin Musgrove and Smith both reached on errors that allowed runs to score.
It was 8-0 going into the bottom of the fifth. Andru Siemer and Addington both singled. Guy hit an RBI single before Smith drove a 2-0 pitch over the fence in left to end the game.
Smith finished with four RBI, while Guy, who went 3 for 3, ahd three.
Campbell and Aiden Screen, who hit a solo homer in the fourth, each finished with one RBI.
Addington and Siemer each went 2 for 3.
