Kipton Spence completed a success come-from-behind victory, scoring the goal that proved to be the difference in the Keystone Heights High School boys soccer team’s 3-2 win over host Bell on Dec. 12.
The Indians, who trailed 2-1 in the second half, also got one goal each from Noah Jaramillo and Ryder Thomas. Trenton Noble and Tyler Sapp each had an assist.
Keystone went 1-1 in its previous two matches, beginning with an 8-0 win at Trenton on Dec. 9. Spence scored three goals, while Noble and Thomas each scored two. A.J. Nilsen had one goal.
Five players had one assist each: Spence, Thomas, Nathan Benson, Tucker Price and Landon Spence.
On Dec. 10, Keystone lost 4-1 to visiting Fernandina Beach. Sammy Wacha scored the lone goal off a Nate Bardier assist.
The Indians will host Interlachen on Wednesday, Dec. 17, at 7:20 p.m., following a junior varsity match at 4 p.m. and a varsity girls match at 5:30 p.m. Keystone then hosts Middleburg on Thursday, Dec. 18, with the JV team playing at 5: 30 p.m. and the varsity team playing at 7:20 p.m.
