KHHS boys soccer win streak ends with loss to P.K.

Visiting P.K. Yonge put a halt to the Keystone Heights High School boys soccer team’s winning streak, defeating the Indians 4-3 on Jan. 10.

Keystone (10-5-1) had won five in a row.

Aaron Wiley scored two goals in the loss, while Sammy Wacha had one goal. Noah Jaramillo and Garrett Jones each recorded one assist.

The Indians entered the match off a 4-3 win at Newberry on Jan. 8 in which Jaramillo scored three goals.

Luke Brunt scored a goal as well.

Wiley had two assists, while Wacha had one.

Keystone will play at District 4-3A opponent North Marion on Wednesday, Jan. 15, at 6 p.m. and will travel to play Episcopal on Thursday, Jan. 16, at 7:20 p.m. The Indians return home to play Clay on Friday, Jan. 17, at 7 p.m.
