Dezaray Bright scored 22 points as the Keystone Heights High School girls basketball team won for the fifth time in six games, defeating host Eastside 41-32 on Dec. 15.
Bright finished with a double-double as she grabbed 13 rebounds. She and Yasmin Bryant each had a team-high five steals.
Kiley Channell scored eight points. The Indians also got four points from Kaitlin Brown, three points from Bryant, two points from McKinlee Kirkland and one point each from Brynn Creekmore and Jaynell Hill.
Channell added 11 rebounds to her totals, while Brown had seven.
Keystone (8-3) entered the game off a 45-16 loss at Middleburg on Dec. 12.
The team was without starters Bright and Channell. Bryant and Creekmore scored six and five points, respectively. Hill added three points, while Kadence Massey had two.
Massey had five steals, while Bryant and Alana Anderson each had three.
The Indians played Palatka this past Monday (Dec. 19) and will travel to play Wildwood on Tuesday, Dec. 20, at 7:30 p.m.
