Goalkeeper Aspen Krohn made 21 saves, but host Clay still defeated the Keystone Heights High School girls soccer team 9-1 on Nov. 16.
Kiersten Shaw scored the Indians’ lone goal on an assist from Alee Horton.
Keystone (3-2) was coming off a 5-0 win at Crescent City on Nov. 15. Shaw scored three goals and had one assist, while Ella Hutchins and Elizabeth Waughon each scored one goal.
Hutchins and Parker Collins each had one assist, while Krohn made 11 saves.
The Indians travel to play Baker County on Monday, Nov. 28, at 6 p.m. and play a road match against West Nassau on Tuesday, Nov. 29, at 5:30 p.m. Keystone travels to play Gainesville on Friday, Dec. 2, at 7 p.m.
On Monday, Dec. 5, the Indians travel to play Trenton at 5 p.m. Keystone then plays on the road against District 4-3A opponent Fort White on Tuesday, Dec. 6, at 5:30 p.m.
