Second seed Bishop Snyder (22-6) got its first run in the second inning off an Evan Pieklo single with two outs and increased its lead to 2-0 by scoring on a wild pitch in the third inning.

The Cardinals scored three runs in the sixth, with Murray driving in two on a two-out double.
