Keystone Heights High School’s softball team will get the chance to play again following its loss in the April 30 District 5-2A tournament championship game, receiving the seventh seed in the Region 2 playoffs.
The Indians (11-15) will travel to play second seed Montverde Academy (18-5) in a quarterfinal game on Wednesday, May 6, at 7 p.m. If Keystone wins, it will travel to play either third seed Belle Isle Cornerstone Christian (19-5) or sixth seed Newberry (14-8) in a semifinal game on Tuesday, May 12, at 7 p.m.
Region 2 also consists of top seed Orlando First Academy (20-3), fourth seed Ocala Trinity Catholic (14-11), fifth seed Melbourne Central Catholic (14-7) and eighth seed Cocoa Space Coast (11-11).
