Keystone Heights High School’s Region 1-3A championship softball game against Baldwin has been moved to Thursday, May 19, at 7 p.m. at Baldwin.

The game was originally scheduled for Friday, May 20, which is also the same night as the KHHS graduation.

Keystone (19-9) entered the playoffs as the third seed in Region 1. The Indians defeated sixth-seed West Nassau 7-4 in the quarterfinals and are coming off a 3-1 win over second-seed Providence in the semifinals.

Baldwin (25-2), the number-one seed, defeated eighth-seed Episcopal 2-1 in the quarterfinals and fifth-seed FSU High 12-0 in the semifinals.

If Keystone wins the Region 1 championship, it will advance to the Final Four, which is being hosted by Legends Way Ball Fields in Clermont. The Indians would play a state semifinal game on Wednesday, May 25, at either noon or 2 p.m. A win there would put the Indians in the state championship game on Thursday, May 26, at 7 p.m.
