Keystone Heights Elementary School kindergarten registration will be in person this year, but by appointments only, on Thursday, May 12, and Tuesday, May 17.
In order to prevent possible loss of teachers next school year, the school is asking future kindergarten parents to participate in this registration.
During scheduled appointments, parents will have the opportunity to meet kindergarten teachers as they meet with students for a simple readiness screening while parents turn in required documents. You will then be assisted in completing online registration for next school year.
Once completed families will be able to tour the kindergarten hallway, pick up a kindergarten goody bag and take their child’s picture in an “I’m Ready for Kindergarten 2023” setting. You will leave ready for their child to begin school in August.
Please call for an appointment. A list of the required documents will be shared after scheduling. Those documents include: certified birth certificate, completed immunization record (on Form 680), health physical (received since Aug. 10, 2021), parent ID, and proof of residency in the school district. Your child must be 5 years old on or before Sept. 1, 2022, to begin kindergarten in August.
