Friends Hayden, Prince and Aspen were braving the chilly Saturday morning to ride in the the Lawtey Christmas parade.

LOGO Church had three vehicles in the parade this year. Always wanting to spread the message of love to Lawtey citizens.

Cousins Raylan Kirkland and MJ Molina enthusiastically waved and shouted, “Merry Christmas”, to every one in the parade. The duo had been playing in the park when they were pleasantly surprised by the morning Christmas parade in Lawtey on Saturday.
Classic cars and trucks stretched around the block as the Christmas Parade glided down Lake Street in Lawtey on Saturday morning.
Lawtey Mayor Jimmie Scott was riding in the parade, wishing residents a Merry Christmas!

It was a great day for collecting candy! The Lawtey Christmas Parade has some of the best candy in the county! All the parade goers walked away with shopping bags full!

The Libby family, Lyla, Ashlin, Jessie and Josh, said they have been coming to the Lawtey Christmas parade for years. It’s become not only a Christmas tradition, but it’s also a birthday one! Ashlin’s 18th birthday was on Saturday, so they started the day with the Lawtey Christmas Parade.
Farrah Duhart and Jamyrah Newsom showed that all the cool parade cars aren’t just for the boys! Duhart had her ride lined up and ready to roll through Lawtey’s Christmas Parade!
Chenise Williams of Lawtey brought the Christmas Candy Magic with bags of candy ready to be given to parade goers!
Charlie Brown Jr. is one of many classic car enthusiasts who stroll down the parade route each year. Brown and his wife wanted to represent and remember the C.C. Anderson JR High-school that once served Lawtey’s African American atudents. The school was torn down after desegregation and the property was later used to build Lawtey Correctional Institution.
Ken Sutton, along with many other local car enthusiasts, showed up bright and early to cruise down the streets of Lawtey for the Christmas Parade.
