The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (the Department) has received a Notice of Inactive status from FloridaCommerce declaring the Union County Soil and Water Conservation District inactive under Chapter 189, Florida Statutes. The Department has found that the Union Soil and Water Conservation District was not in compliance with the audit and financial reporting requirements in Chapter 189, Florida Statutes, and proposes a certification determining that the continued operation of the District is not administratively practicable and feasible under the provisions of the Chapter.

The territory included in the Union County Soil and Water Conservation District is the same as the jurisdictional boundaries of Union County, Florida. This Notice shall be published once a week for two weeks.
