Bradford County making a request for proposals (RFP) from qualified roofing contractors to provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to replace and/or repair the existing low-slope roofing system on the Bradford County Courthouse building. The intent of this RFP is to select a roofing contractor with demonstrated experience in low-slope, commercial roofing systems and the ability to manage potential interior water damage repairs associated with the roof failure. The County is requesting estimates for repairs to existing roof systems and flashings as well as roof replacement. Please propose accordingly.

BID EXTENSION

The Board of County Commissioners of Bradford County, Florida is extending the due date to receive competitive bids from qualified vendors for floor care services at certain Bradford County facilities. An addendum has been published on the county website.

QUALIFICATIONS ISSUED DATE: August 13, 2026

QUALIFICATIONS DUE DATE/TIME: September 25, 2026, at 2:00 PM

All vendors will be permitted to schedule site visits for inspections and measurements before submitting a bid. This should be scheduled through the Bradford County Public Works Department.

The updated instructions and bid forms can be picked up at the Bradford County Manager’s Office, Bradford County Courthouse, 945 N. Temple Avenue, Starke, Florida 32091 or from the county website at www.bradfordcountyfl.gov/bid-advertisements.

Bids must be physically delivered in sealed envelope marked “SEALED PROPOSAL FOR FLOOR CARE” to the Office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court before September 25, 2026, at 2:00 PM. No faxed or emailed bids will be accepted.

Bids will be read aloud in the Bradford County Commission Meeting Room located in the Bradford County Courthouse – 945 N. Temple Avenue, Starke, FL 32091 on September 25, 2026, at 2:05 PM.

The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, award all or part of the bid, waive any technicality with regard to the bids, exercise its local preference ordinance, and to interpret the bid specifications in the best interest of Bradford County.
