It will be a night filled with stars at the North Florida Regional Chamber of Commerce’s Hollywood-themed annual meeting and banquet.
The Gov. Charley E. Johns Conference Center will be dressed to the nines by Leisa Sims and her team at It’s Your Day Bridal. Guests will take the Walk of Fame, featuring the star-studded names of the events sponsors.
The night of glamour in black and white will all take place on Saturday, Feb. 3, and tickets are on sale now.
The crew from Downtown Grill will be catering the event. Hors d’oeuvres will be served during the social hour beginning at 5 p.m. Dinner begins at 6 p.m. with a buffet that will include something for everyone.
The chamber board will present its annual awards, including Business of the Year. Keystone Heights RV Resort is being recognized this year, and the board is bestowing two posthumous awards for pharmacist Bobby Autry and Dr. Pete Gianas.
Bradford County Education Foundation will also be supporting local schools again with its annual fundraiser. Raffle tickets are on sale now at Capital City Bank or from any foundation board member. A $100 ticket will enter you into the drawing for a 10-by-10 shed donated by Frank Sheffield. Only 200 tickets will be sold. There are also two $50 drawings. Drew Reddish has donated a seven-day stay in St. Augustine at Ocean Gallery Condo. Carrie Crews has donated a four-day, three-night stay at The Blissful Bear Cabin in Ellijay, Georgia. Only 100 tickets will be sold for each of the $50 drawings.
Tickets to the banquet are $85 apiece, but as always, the best bargain is for a table for 10, which is available for $750.
Get tickets or inquire about sponsorship opportunities at the chamber of commerce, 904-964-5278.
