Lawtey will soon be welcoming a new neighbor, south of town, on U.S. 301. The Magnolia Homes Center is scheduled to open Aug. 23 and will showcase multiple model homes on its lot.
Owner Jacob Craig says he is pleased to offer a high-end style home center that will provide Bradford and the surrounding areas with a one-stop location for their home buying needs.
Craig and his business partner, Chris Bennett Sr., both former law enforcement, believe in quality, care and service and want that to be top priority when operating Magnolia Homes.
When asked about their mission statement Craig said he and Bennett’s “25-year combined experience in the manufactured and site-built construction field has afforded us the ability to cultivate the ultimate experience for helping people become homeowners. We strive for excellence to provide a well-rounded smooth process to ensure quality and time efficiency from start to finish. We are a true family-owned company who has the customers best interest in mind. We do manufactured housing the Magnolia way.”
The Magnolia Home Center “way” will be a unique manufactured home shopping experience, with plans for ten, fully operational model homes on display. This will allow customers to tour each home in the comfort of air conditioning. The center will feature homes from various manufacturers such as Homes of Merit, Skyline and Champion. Craig said he wants buyers to feel a difference as soon as they step on the lot and believes customers should see the same high quality in the manufactured home experience as they would when buying a site-built home.
The well-manicured property and friendly salespeople will be just some of the standout features of the home center. Craig said the center plans to be a “full turnkey service” by having an onsite construction manager, a licensed realtor and financing options available to help prospective home buyers easily navigate the home building and buying process.
Craig and his team are excited to offer their expertise on building and buying a new home in north Florida and want to kick it off by inviting everyone to their grand opening on Saturday, Aug. 23. There will be food, live music and a raffle to win $500 along with other great prizes.
