As a long-time resident of Union County, I, Eric Martin, am humbly seeking election to serve as County Commissioner for District 4.
I moved to Providence in 1992 and graduated from Union County High School in 1997. After graduation, I left to proudly serve in the United States Army and upon my return home I earned a degree in respiratory therapy. As a respiratory therapist, I continued to serve the community for approximately a decade at Shands Hospital as well as working the front lines of Covid 19. I am now serving as an employee of Lake Butler Hospital.
While attending county commission meetings, I have become aware that District 4 has many needs. It will be my commitment to help improve District 4 as commissioner. I will work to make our infrastructure safe and upgraded where needed, and to improve our EMS to assist and serve our citizens better.
I will also be dedicated to riding our roads and visiting our parks to ensure our community is well maintained and hazard free.
