KEYSTONE HEIGHTS—The Clay Education Foundation announced during the December 7 school board meeting that the winners will be announced during the foundation’s Apple Awards ceremony on February 8 at the Thrasher-Horne Center.
The Teacher-of-the-Year finalists are from Wilkinson Junior High, Robin Campbell; from Oakleaf Junior High, Karen Whitten; from Wilkinson Elementary, Sarah Gums; from Swimming Pen Creek Elementary, Regina Bragg; from Spring Park Elementary, Allison Altwater; from Orange Park Elementary, Wendy Stevens; from Oakleaf High School, Edwin Romeo; from Lakeside Junior High, Sherry Bumpers; from Coppergate Elementary, Lisa Allen; and from Argyle Elementary, Valerie Jenkins.
The finalists for school-related employee of the year are Josephine Roquemore of Grove Park Elementary, Tremrry Chambers of Argyle Elementary, Philip Turturro of Doctors Inlet Elementary, Amanda Zayas of Wilkinson Junior High, Valerie Messer of S. Bryan Jennings Elementary, Andrea Wilson of Ridgeview High, Stacy Jackson of Oakleaf High, Shalaunda Delano of McRae Elementary, Pamela Saxon of Keystone Heights Elementary, and Cameron Rivera of Clay Virtual Academy.
