STARKE—The Florida Department of Revenue said a Bradford County supplier of mobile home supplies failed to pay sales taxes to the state.
The tax collection agency’s Lake City office issued a tax warrant for Thompson’s Mobile Home Supply and Hardware on December 14.
The department claims the North U.S. 301 business owes Florida $9,408 in unpaid taxes, penalties, interest, and other costs.
The department issues warrants to secure payment of delinquent taxes. After recording the warrants in official records, they become liens on the taxpayer’s real and personal property in the county.
