The Florida Highway Patrol said a 25-year-old Starke woman was killed in a traffic crash near Hampton on Friday, December 5.

Troopers said the driver hit a pipe on Southeast 109th Street just before midnight. After the collision, the vehicle went airborne and hit a tree and a fence.

The driver was taken to a hospital, where she later died.

An online fundraiser identified the driver as Alina Camryn Gonzalez.

“She was only 25 years old and leaves behind three precious children,” wrote organizer Hannah Griffis of Hampton. “We take comfort knowing she is now in the loving arms of Jesus. We are raising funds to help cover the cost of her burial and funeral expenses. This is an incredibly difficult time for her family, and any support, whether through donations, prayers, or sharing this page, means the world to us.”

At press time, the GoFundMe.com campaign had raised $13,665 toward a $15,000 goal.
