KEYSTONE HEIGHTS— The MotoSurf Games are returning to Keystone Beach from April 21 through April 23.

Promoters of the event said MotoSurf, motorized surfboards designed for racing on water, is the fastest growing, most affordable and safest watersport in the world.

The Keystone event is the first stop in the MotoSurf World Championship Series, established in 2012. The series covers racing venues in over 15 countries, with 25 nations represented among the contestants.

CBS Sports, which covered last year’s event in the Lake Region, will again televise the event to a national audience.

Last year, over 40 motorized surfboard racers from nine countries competed on Lake Geneva.

JetSurf USA racer Antony Squire won the men’s class, and 55 million households had access to the show on CBS.

Practice and qualification for the event will be held on April 21, with an opening ceremony, heat rides, an electric challenge and a tube race the following day. The finals, skateboard races and closing ceremony will wrap up the event on Sunday, April 23.
