Promising walk-ins a 10-minute oil change, Express Oil Change and Tire Engineers has chosen Starke for a new location.
Property has been cleared next to the Dollar Tree on U.S. 301 at the intersection of Alexander Road. The single-family home on the 2.15-acre parcel has been demolished.
Lance Campbell in Starke’s building and zoning office said Express Oil has submitted plans, which have been reviewed, and applied for the necessary permits to begin construction. He said that should begin sooner rather than later. The prior commercial rezoning fits with the rest of the development along the corridor.
Express Oil is well known for its 10-minute oil change, according to the company. Although they do take appointments for other services, no appointments are necessary for an oil change, which also includes a free 20-point courtesy inspection. This includes checking fluids, belts, hoses, filters, lights, wipers and tire wear. They can perform maintenance as needed. Prices vary by the type and amount of oil, plus any additional services requested.
Additional services include maintenance and repair of multiple systems including air conditioning recharge; tire rotation, balancing and repair; battery testing and replacement; brake pad and rotor replacement; coolant replacement and leak repair; fixing drivetrain issues and more. They can run car diagnostics and inspect the flagged system for needed repairs.
There are also tire experts at every location as well as an online search tool to determine what tires you need when it’s time to replace them. They offer several well-known varieties like Goodyear and Firestone and many other trusted brands.
Express Oil Change and Tire Engineers has dozens of locations in 21 states, with most located in Alabama, Georgia and Florida.
