Perry Gann
Perry Neil Gann, 86, of Keystone Heights died Wednesday, April 15, 2026. He was a deacon at First Baptist Church in Keystone Heights. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ernestine Gann; and parents.
Survivors are his brother, Gary (Bonnie) Gann; sons, Phillip (Robyn) Gann and Kent (Kim) Gann; and extended family.
A memorial service will be Saturday, May 2, at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church, 550 E. Walker Drive, Keystone Heights 32656.

James Nugent Sr.
James C. Nugent Sr. of Florida passed away peacefully Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at the age of 72. He was born April 4, 1954, in Syracuse, New York. Throughout his life, James was known for his remarkable dedication to his craft as an electrician, a profession he excelled in for over 40 years. He took pride in founding and running his own company, James C. Nugent Electric, that he operated successfully for 10 years until his retirement in 2008. He was a man of many interests. He found joy in playing guitar and singing, often sharing his talents with family and friends. Fishing and camping were among his favorite pastimes; allowing him to connect with nature and create lasting memories with those he loved. He was preceded in death by Paul Nugent Sr., Vera Nugent, Donna Martini, Ronald Nugent, Paul Nugent Jr.
He is survived by his son, James (Hope) Nugent Jr.; daughter, Emily (Bryan) Dawson; grandchildren, Dalton (Sarah) Nugent, Dustin Andrews, and Cole Dawson; and great-grandchildren, Si Nugent, Paisley Andrews, and Dustin Andrews Jr.; siblings, Diane (Mike) Tierney, Linda (Larry) Roberts, Glenda (Marty) Padgett, Elaine (Buddy) Collings, Ricky Nugent, and Danny (Missy) Nugent.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 25, at Lake Butler Community Center, 155 N.W. Third St., Lake Butler 32054.

Gregory Woods
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gregory Alfred Woods of Starke. Greg departed this life after a brief illness on Friday, April 17, 2026, in Lake City. He was born April 29, 1953, in Starke to Alfred and Mildred Woods. He graduated from Bradford County High School in 1971. He was a father to Amy and Lorrie and loved Alfred “Kimbo” and Gregory “Tabo” like his own. He was a hard worker, a listener with few words to say. He taught his children to have a strong work ethic, dedication and to always cherish and be devoted to their friends. After all, his life-long buddies Doyle Spradley and Bubba Bennett meant the world to him. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed, fishing, hunting, more fishing, farming and team roping in his younger years. His career at Clay Electric as a lineman and then serviceman lasted from 1973 to 1997 before traveling west for Union Lineman Worker. As a life-long learner, he pursued many passions. Later in his life, he traveled out west extensively with his girlfriend, Meghan, and fell in love with fishing every day in Alaska during the summer months. He was preceded in death by his father, Alfred Martin Woods; and his brother, Lawrence Lamar Woods.
He is survived by his mother, Mildred Lois Woods; daughters, Amy Abram and Lorrie Ann Woods (Mark Witt); sisters, Alice Hall and Sherry “Sissy” (Dan) Cuddington; and grandchildren, Patrick Abram, Zakkary Abram and Danielle Abram. He is also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at Hope Baptist Church Cemetery in Starke on Friday, April 24, at 11 a.m.
