Sharon Brown

Sharon L. Brown, 74, of Hampton passed away Sunday, May 31, 2026, at Haven Hospice in Gainesville. She was born July 24, 1951, in Gainesville.  Sharon lived a life filled with dedication and service. She worked for over 30 years in probation services and previously contributed her talents to the University of Florida. Her commitment to her family will be remembered fondly. In her personal life, she was a woman of faith, a proud member of the Baptist Church, and loved to decorate and make her home a warm and inviting place. Most importantly, she cherished her time with family, finding great joy in every moment spent with her daughter, Kimberly McDougall, and her grandsons, Jordan Pence and Matthew McDougall. She is also survived by her mother, Mary Brown; and her sister, Dianne Davis. She was preceded in death by her father, David Brown. Sharon was a loving daughter, devoted mother, cherished grandmother, and a loyal sister. Her kindness and love will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations be made to Haven Hospice to honor her memory.

A private service will be held at Santa Fe Cemetery.

Patricia Hayes

Patricia “Pat” Anne Hayes, 85, of Starke died Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at Roberts Care Center in Palatka. 

Survivors are her daughter, Allison (Bill) Lunn; sisters, Susan (Jim) Robinett and Eileen (Dave) Kelly; two grandchildren; and extended family and friends. 

A Celebration of Life was held Friday, May 29, at Archie Tanner Memorial Chapel. Her family received friends an hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment was at Highland Cemetery in Lawtey.

Rachel Moore

Rachel Moore

Rachel Moore, 80, of Lawtey died Saturday, May 30, 2026, at her residence. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Julian Moore. 

Survivors are her children, Richard (Kelly) Moore, Kenny Moore, Kevin (Karen) Moore, Raymond (Beth) Moore and Susan (David) Wilkerson, and Rodger (Angel) Moore; and extended family and friends. 

A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, June 5, at 11 a.m. at Lawtey Church of God.  Interment will follow at Lawtey Cemetery in Lawtey.  Her family will receive guests at Brandon and Stephanie Herndon’s home, 2884 NW 200th St., Lawtey, 32058 on Thursday, June 4, from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m.
