KEYSTONE HEIGHTS— The 54th annual Our Country Day Parade proceeded north on South Lawrence Boulevard on Saturday, July 2, celebrating the theme “One Nation.”
The procession, sponsored by Lake Region Kiwanis, featured 38 entries.
Lake Region Kiwanis won the Most Original prize, with America the Beautiful placing second.
Judges awarded the Bound to Soar Flag Team first place in the Best Marching Unit category and second to Keystone Heights High School Cheerleaders.
Keystone Sports Association won the Best Youth prize. American Heritage Girls was runner-up.
First place in the Closest to Theme category went to the Women’s Club of Keystone Heights. AMVETS Post 86 was runner-up.
Ferrell Flag won the Judges’ Choice award, with Melrose Patriots coming in second.
Judges awarded the Best Business award to Hatch Realty Services, with Costello’s Tree Service placing second.
