atient had no pulse, paramedics and EMTs save life
STARKE—Bradford County Fire Rescue said six of its members saved a patient’s life after they found the patient in cardiac arrest with no pulse.
The agency gave lifesaving awards to Lt. Cody Johnson, PMD Ashley Smith, EMT Breanna Yost, Lt. John Townsend, EMT Samantha McKerrell, and Firefighter-PMD Caden Massey for their resuscitative efforts.
“BCFR personnel worked tirelessly to provide advanced cardiac life support to the patient,” the agency said. “Subsequent lifesaving efforts were successful, and the patient regained a pulse. The patient was then transported to an area hospital where patient care was continued.”
