A 39-year-old Melrose woman was sentenced to 18 months’ probation after pleading to pawning stolen earrings at a Starke pawn shop.
Brandi Canielle Martinez pleaded to dealing in stolen property and giving false information to a pawn dealer.
According to an arrest warrant affidavit, in December 2022, Alachua County deputies contacted a Bradford detective about the theft of earrings in the Melrose area, with the victim identifying Martinez as the offender.
