Hankerson, who graduated from BHS in 2002, was presented with an honorary Top Tornado Athletic Award by the Class of 2002 and Bradford Athletics following the conclusion of the first quarter of the Tornadoes’ Nov. 21 playoff football game. One of Hankerson’s accomplishments was winning the Class 2A 100m state championship in 2002.
