The Rotary Club of Starke held its annual Beast Feast on March 26 at the Bradford Sportsmen’s Farm. The evening consisted of prize drawings, musical entertainment by Ben Carter and, of course, a lot of food. Above, Debbie Meyers (left), pictured with Jeff Johnson, successfully bid on what proved to the winner during the “pig” auction, which resulted in her winning a Windham 5.56 rifle. The Beast Feast helps Rotary with its support of North Florida Technical College’s fire program, Starke Police Department’s Shop With a Cop, Santa Fe College scholarships, Bradford Food Pantry, Boy Scouts and families in need during Christmas as well as helping on an international level through the Guatemala Literacy Project.Know how to make a table full of hors d’oeuvres stand out?
