STARKE— Police arrested a 23-year-old man after they said he pulled a gun on a victim during an argument over loud music.
Cody Michael Jones was arrested after midnight on Monday, April 4 for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
According to an arrest report, the victim told police Jones was intoxicated in a vehicle on South Street with the volume on the vehicle at the maximum level.
“(The victim) stated he came out of his residence and told Cody to turn his music down,” wrote arresting officer Moses C. Bellamy in the report. “Cody then became enraged and belligerent, yelling and acting out and throwing things at the residence.”
The victim added that when he began to walk down the steps of his residence, Jones pulled out a black handgun.
Bellamy wrote in the report that he could not locate the weapon.
