On May 1, the National Technical Honor Society announced the induction of Bradford High School Principal Christopher Coffey as an honorary member of the organization, in recognition of his support for career and technical education.
The BHS chapter said in a statement that Coffey’s visionary leadership has enabled the growth of programs that are now producing some of the most certified high school students in the region.
“None of this would be possible without Principal Coffey,” said Computer Science and Information Technology professor Steven Djavaheri. “He didn’t just support these programs—he made them possible. His commitment to our students, teachers, and future workforce deserves every bit of recognition.”
Founded in 1984, the National Technical Honor Society honors top-achieving students in career and technical education. With more than 100,000 active members across the country each year, NTHS promotes excellence in workforce readiness, leadership, and service. The organization has awarded more than $3 million in scholarships and remains a vital part of developing America’s future talent.
