Feb. 26 through March 4
The following individuals were arrested recently by local law enforcement officers in Bradford, Union or Clay (Keystone Heights-area) counties. All defendants are considered innocent until convicted in a court or until pleading guilty or no contest. Information in this report is from law enforcement agencies and court documents, which are public records.
Bradford
Sara Raven Armstrong, 26, of Starke was arrested by Bradford deputies on Feb. 26 for DUI.
Alton James Boles, 71, of Starke was arrested by Bradford deputies on Feb. 26 for aggravated battery.
Daniel William Bresee, 34, of Hampton was arrested by Bradford deputies on Feb. 28 for battery, resisting an officer and possession of drugs.
The victim and witnesses told deputies that Bresee entered the back door of a Hampton residence, located the victim and threatened the woman before pushing the woman and slapping her in the face.
Brittany Joann Butler, 25, of Gainesville was arrested by Bradford deputies on March 4 for aggravated battery, larceny and robbery.
According to court papers, on Feb. 4 the defendant robbed the victim of $200 by striking him on the head with a pipe or tire iron.
Jonathan Eugene Cain, 50, of Tampa was arrested by Lawtey police on March 2 for an out-of-county warrant and driving with a suspended or revoked license.
Marquez Cornelius Carter, 23, of Gainesville was arrested by Starke police on March 2 for battery.
According to an arrest report, two women told police the defendant shoved them both during a domestic argument.
Brooks Anthony Collins, 52, of Starke was arrested by Bradford deputies on March 2 for disturbing the peace.
A deputy wrote in an arrest report that the defendant was shouting, cursing and waving his arms in the parking lot of Starke’s Sonic Drive-In for no apparent reason.
Kaleb Blayne Crawford, 20, of Starke was arrested by Bradford deputies on Feb. 27 for a probation violation.
Wayne Douglas Crawford, 45, of Keystone Heights was arrested by Bradford deputies on Feb. 28 for resisting an officer, possession of cocaine, possession of drugs and possession of drug equipment.
Jimmie Lee Davis, 48, of St. Petersburg was arrested by Bradford deputies on Feb. 28 for a probation violation.
Kenneth Warren Davis, 56, of Starke was arrested by Bradford deputies on Feb. 28 for a probation violation.
Erika Jordan Garcia, 33, of Starke was arrested by Bradford deputies on March 2 for possession of drugs, an out-of-county warrant and possession of drug equipment.
Nicole Catlin Hall, 30, of Trenton was arrested by Bradford deputies on March 1 for a probation violation.
Kenneth Levon Hinson, 53, of Jacksonville was arrested by Bradford deputies on March 4 for a probation violation.
Daniel Arlon Holder, 34, of Middleburg was arrested by Bradford deputies on Feb. 28 for driving with a suspended or revoked license, possession of drugs, possession of drug equipment, larceny and illegal use of credit cards.
According to court papers, the victim said she allowed the defendant and a woman to temporarily stay at her home. She was notified by her bank’s fraud department of suspicious activity on her debit card.
Deputies found four fraudulent purchases on the card: two at a Middleburg Circle K and one each at a Keystone Heights Family Dollar and Starke Walmart. Video surveillance showed the defendant and his companion making purchases at the Circle K and Family Dollar using the victim’s card.
Anna Marie Johnson, 37, of Starke was arrested by Starke police on Feb. 26 for a probation violation.
Sholeke Lomeke Merriwhether, 33, of Starke was arrested by Bradford deputies on March 4 for failure to appear.
Benjamin Eugene Padgett, 25, of Starke was arrested by Bradford deputies on March 1 for a probation violation.
Dwanda Lavon Payne, 33, of Tampa was arrested by Bradford deputies on Feb. 28 for a probation violation.
Clem David Prescott, 68, of Brooker was arrested by Bradford deputies on March 4 for a probation violation and an out-of-county warrant.
Daryl Shermeil Risby, 48, of Starke was arrested by Bradford deputies on March 1 for domestic battery and resisting an officer.
According to an arrest report, the defendant struck a family member in the face during a verbal dispute.
Ivan Tyrese Sargeant, 23, of Starke was arrested by Starke police on March 2 for driving with a suspended or revoked license.
James Albert Thomas, 34, of Palatka was arrested by Starke police on March 4 for being an out-of-state fugitive.
John Kenneth Turknett, 48, of Starke was arrested by Bradford deputies on March 1 for driving with a suspended or revoked license and attaching a tag not assigned to a vehicle.
Mycah Ian Tyler, 20, of Jacksonville was arrested by Lawtey police on March 1 for an out-of-county warrant.
Tymonzo Demon Ward, 24, of Starke was arrested by Bradford deputies on March 1 for a probation violation.
Teresa Marie Williams, 37, of Starke was arrested by Bradford deputies on Feb. 26 for an out-of-county warrant and driving with a revoked or suspended license.
Union
Tyler Mackenzie Boyle, 28, of Lake Butler was arrested by Union deputies on March 1 for child neglect.
According to a sworn complaint, on Nov. 21, 2021, a witness told deputies that the defendant and his partner left a one-year-old child in a camper unsupervised while the couple went to a Lake Butler convenience store.
Shawn Mather Eiserman, 33, was arrested by Union deputies on Feb. 28 for resisting an officer and an out-of-county warrant.
According to an arrest report, a deputy made contact with the defendant regarding a trespassing violation and a Bradford County warrant.
The defendant tried to outrun the deputy’s patrol car on his bicycle, crashed into a ditch and ran into nearby woods.
A Florida Department of Corrections Reception and Medical Center search dog located the defendant lying down in a thick, wooded area.
Scott James Floyd, 25, of Bell was arrested by Union deputies on Feb. 28 for aggravated assault, battery, vehicle theft and robbery.
According to a sworn complaint, on Sept. 15, 2020, the defendant used a knife to carjack a friend’s vehicle, while the victim was driving both.
Floyd then attempted to run over the victim with the car.
Jenny Kay Hernandez, 31, of Lake Butler was arrested by Union deputies on March 6 for disorderly intoxication.
George Darnell Mack, 52, of Alachua was arrested by Union deputies on Feb. 28 for domestic battery, resisting an officer and obstructing justice.
Sarah Noel McGuire, 37, was arrested by Union deputies for possession of drugs.
Talon Glenn Neal, 26, of Interlachen was arrested by Union deputies on March 4 for possession of drugs and destroying evidence.
Jeremiah Newsome, 36, was arrested by Union deputies on Feb. 28 for smuggling contraband into a prison.
Nicholas Francis Phillips, 31, of Gainesville was arrested by Union deputies on March 2 for a probation violation.
Mildred Elizabeth Simmons, 32, of Lake Butler was arrested by Union deputies on March 2 for vehicle theft and a probation violation.
Clay
Jason Travis Cross, 40, was arrested by Clay deputies in Keystone Heights on March 1 for battery.
Kady Leigh Freeman, 29, was arrested by Clay deputies in Keystone Heights on March 1 for misuse of the 911 system.
Deputies wrote in an arrest affidavit that the defendant called 911 from Keystone’s Family Dollar and told them she believed her mother and children had been killed because her mother did not answer her phone calls.
Officers added that between October 2021 and February 2022, the defendant has made similar claims after calling 911 sixteen times. Deputies also wrote the defendant has an ongoing drug addiction.
Anthony Ray Madron, 36, was arrested by Clay deputies in Keystone Heights on March 3 for failure to appear.
Shaleena Arren Marks, 21, was arrested by Clay deputies in Keystone Heights on Feb. 28 for domestic battery.
John Junior Williams, 50, was arrested by Clay deputies on Feb. 28 for burglary with assault or battery.
Jerry Wayne Ward, 51, was arrested by Clay deputies in Keystone Heights on Feb. 27 for domestic battery.
