The following individuals were arrested recently by local law enforcement officers in Bradford, Union, or Clay (Keystone Heights-area) counties. All defendants are considered innocent until convicted in a court or until pleading guilty or no contest. Information in this report is from law enforcement agencies and court documents, which are public records.
Bradford
Shirone Bonnett, 45, was arrested by Bradford deputies on August 15 for an out-of-county warrant.
Sarah Bradley-Holman, 45, of Hilliard, was arrested on August 11 for a probation violation.
Shannon Butler, 28, of Starke, was arrested by Bradford deputies on August 15 for failure to appear.
Honestee Carter, 39, was arrested by Bradford deputies on August 9 for an out-of-county warrant.
David Curran, 27, of Tampa, was arrested by FHP troopers on August 10 for an out-of-county warrant and driving with a suspended or revoked license.
Charles Griffis, 69, of Hampton, was arrested by Bradford deputies on August 10 for an out-of-county warrant.
Chasity Hannah, 41, of Lawtey, was arrested by Bradford deputies for a probation violation.
Adam Higginbotham, 34, of Jacksonville, was arrested by Bradford deputies on August 12 for an out-of-county warrant.
Shi’kira Jones, 21, of Starke, was arrested by Bradford deputies on August 15 for failure to appear.
Quentin Lang, 28, of Warwick, New York, was arrested by Lawtey police on August 11 for possession of cocaine, possession of drug equipment, and possession of marijuana.
Casey Mims, 34, of Callahan, was arrested by Bradford deputies on August 14 for possession of drugs, possession of drug equipment, and driving with a suspended or revoked license.
Antonio Morgan, 45, of High Springs, was arrested by Bradford deputies on August 11 for probation violations.
Brenda Perez, 32, of Lake City, was arrested by Bradford deputies on August 11 for failure to appear.
Jeffrey Starling, 41, of Hampton, was arrested by Bradford deputies on August 15 for a probation violation.
Nielsen Torres Vasquez, 25, of Jacksonville, was arrested by Bradford deputies on August 15 for DUI.
Kenneth Varnes, 46, of Hampton, was arrested by Bradford deputies on August 11 for a probation violation.
Amanda Wall, 39, of Brooker, was arrested by Bradford deputies on August 15 for possession of drugs, possession of drug equipment and child neglect.
Union
Tanisha Barnwell, 21, of Lake Butler, was arrested by Union deputies on August 11 for out-of-county warrants.
Set fire to paperwork inside cell
Kevin Blake, 32, a Department of Corrections inmate, was arrested by Union deputies on August 12 for arson.
According to a Florida Department of Financial Services, Bureau of Fire Arson and Explosives complaint, officers at Union Correctional Institution saw smoke coming from Blake’s cell on June 20.
Officers then discovered the inmate’s personal paperwork on fire and extinguished the blaze with water-filled fire extinguisher cans.
Stabbed another inmate
Demetrius Brookins, 42, a Department of Corrections inmate, was arrested by Union deputies on August 12 for attempted first-degree murder and smuggling contraband into a correctional facility.
According to a Department of Corrections Inspector General probable cause affidavit, while Brookins was an inmate at the Reception and Medical Center in Lake Butler, he attacked another inmate with a homemade knife on December 4, 2024, stabbing the victim repeatedly in the upper torso.
Tracy Davis, 50, of Archer, was arrested by Union deputies on August 12 for driving with a suspended or revoked license, attaching a tag not assigned, possession of drug equipment, and possession of a controlled substance without a prescription.
Christopher Edinfield, 36, of Lake Butler, was arrested by Union deputies on August 15 for driving with a suspended or revoked license.
Christopher Lariscy, 47, of Lake Butler, was arrested by Union deputies on August 16 for a probation violation.
Alexander Lukatz, of Lake Butler, was arrested by Union deputies on August 12 for possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, possession of drug equipment, possession of marijuana and child neglect.
Carlisa Ogle, 49, of Lake Butler, was arrested by Union deputies on August 16 for an out-of-county warrant.
Kyle Oltmer, 36, of Lake Butler, was arrested by Union deputies on August 14 for a probation violation and an out-of-county warrant.
Michael Ring, Jr., 20, of Lake Butler, was arrested by Union deputies on August 13 for failure to appear.
Harriet Waldron, 41, of Starke, was arrested by Union deputies on August 14 for a probation violation.
Clay
Jesse Harwell, 35, of Keystone Heights, was arrested by Clay deputies on August 12 for possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and possession of drug equipment.
Jamie McMall, 29, of Keystone Heights, was arrested by Clay deputies on August 9 for possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, possession of drug equipment and trespassing.
Karen Spence, 49, of Keystone Heights, was arrested by Clay deputies on August 11 for domestic violence.
