Recent arrests in Bradford, Union and Clay

March 26 through April 1

The following individuals were arrested recently by local law enforcement officers in Bradford, Union or Clay (Keystone Heights-area) counties. All defendants are considered innocent until convicted in a court or until pleading guilty or no contest. Information in this report is from law enforcement agencies and court documents, which are public records.

Bradford

Sara Raven Armstrong, 26, of Starke was arrested by Bradford deputies on March 28 for selling cocaine, possession of cocaine and a conditional release violation.

Ronnie Allen Baker Jr., 40, of Brooker was arrested by Bradford deputies on March 29 for resisting an officer and possession of drug equipment.

According to an arrest report, the defendant was one of nine people arrested during a drug unit and SWAT team raid.

Mikel Marvin Bright, 40, of Lawtey was arrested by Bradford deputies on March 29 for a probation violation.

Tiffaney Renate McElroy Butcher, 39, of Ocala was arrested by Starke police on April 1 for possession of drugs, possession of drug equipment, resisting an officer, fraud-impersonation and out of county warrants.

Ebony Malana Butler, 45, of Starke was arrested by Bradford deputies on March 28 for failure to appear.

Jessie D. Carter, 55, of Starke was arrested by Bradford deputies on March 29 for a probation violation.

According to an arrest report, the defendant was one of nine people arrested during a drug unit and SWAT team raid.

Marquese Terrell Chandler, 23, was arrested by Bradford deputies on March 28 for transmitting information harmful to minors.

According to an arrest report, the defendant sent sexually explicit images to a minor through Facebook.

Pedro Juan Delgado, 24, of Ocala was arrested by Bradford deputies on March 32 for failure to appear.

Joy Carter Gray, 59, of Starke was arrested by Bradford deputies for child neglect, maintaining a public nuisance, possession of marijuana, possession of drugs, possession of cocaine and possession of drug equipment.

According to an arrest report, the defendant was one of nine people arrested during a drug unit and SWAT team raid.

Deputies wrote that the defendant was in possession of THC wax, Xtampza ER, oxycodone hydrochloride, methamphetamine, cocaine and 26.1 grams of marijuana.

Morgan Shae Griffis, 28, of Callahan was arrested by Bradford deputies on March 29 for a probation violation.

Mary Katherine Horsley, 48, of Starke was arrested by Bradford deputies on March 30 for possession of drugs and possession of drug equipment.

Aquiles Leonardo Jackson, 27, of Ocala was arrested by Bradford deputies on April 1 for a probation violation.

Shannon Arnold Jenkins, 42, of Lake Butler was arrested by Bradford deputies on March 31 for DUI and driving with a tag that had been expired for more than six months.

Adrienne Leigh Jones, 37, of Starke was arrested by Bradford deputies on April 1 for failure to appear.

James Rodney Lucas, 41, of Starke was arrested by Starke police on March 28 for selling cocaine and possession of cocaine.

Kansas Marie Matchett, 27, of Interlachen was arrested by Bradford deputies on March 29 for possession of drugs and possession of drug equipment.

Winnie Maynard, 48, of Starke was arrested by Bradford deputies on March 29 for possession of drugs and possession of drug equipment.

According to an arrest report, the defendant was one of nine people arrested during a drug unit and SWAT team raid.

Deputies wrote that the defendant was in possession of methamphetamine and Subutex.

 Proctor William McNeal, 49, of Starke was arrested by Bradford deputies on March 29 for possession of a weapon by a felon, possession of drugs and possession of drug equipment.

According to an arrest report, the defendant was one of nine people arrested during a drug unit and SWAT team raid.

Deputies wrote that seven weapons and three different types of ammunition were found in the home.

Amanda Rose Mills, 37, of Punta Gorda was arrested by Lawtey police on March 28 for an out-of-county warrant.

Robert W. Morris, 60, of Lawtey was arrested by Bradford deputies on March 27 for battery, obstructing justice and a conditional release violation.

According to an arrest report, the victim told deputies that during an argument, the defendant grabbed the right side of her neck and struck her on the head numerous times.  Then, when the victim was on the phone with 911, the defendant took the phone away from her.

Christopher Anthony Paredes, 48, of Hampton was arrested by Bradford deputies on March 29 for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

According to an arrest report, the defendant used his pickup to ram another vehicle while his ex-girlfriend was in the other car. No injuries were reported, and the defendant told a deputy he did not strike the other car hard enough to hurt anyone.

Dylan Seth Parker, 20, of Starke was arrested by Starke police on March 31 for lewd and lascivious behavior.

Wendy Ann Reza, 47, of Starke was arrested by Starke police on April 1 for possession of drugs, possession of drug equipment and trafficking in amphetamine.

Justin Kyle Robbins, 31, of Hampton was arrested by Bradford deputies on March 26 for a probation violation.

Stanley Wayne Davis Sapp, 43, of Jacksonville was arrested by Bradford deputies on March 29 for possession of drugs and possession of drug equipment.

According to an arrest report, the defendant was one of nine people arrested during a drug unit and SWAT team raid.

Deputies wrote that the defendant was in possession of methamphetamine, Suboxone and methylphenidate hydrochloride.

Dawn Nichole Shepherd, 50, of Macclenny was arrested by Bradford deputies on March 29 for possession of drugs and possession of drug equipment.

According to an arrest report, the defendant was one of nine people arrested during a drug unit and SWAT team raid.

Deputies wrote that the defendant was in possession of methamphetamine.

Karen Elizabeth Sherrod, 19, of Starke was arrested by Bradford deputies on March 29 for child neglect and resisting an officer. 

According to an arrest report, the defendant was one of nine people arrested during a drug unit and SWAT team raid.

The defendant was arrested for having a child in a home where she knew narcotics were being trafficked. She was arrested for resisting an officer for failing to respond to 36 minutes of call outs form deputies.

Joseph Iva Blade Starling, 18, of Starke was arrested by Bradford deputies on March 29 for resisting an officer.

According to an arrest report, the defendant was one of nine people arrested during a drug unit and SWAT team raid.

Nichole Leigh Stroup, 42, of Melrose was arrested by Starke police on April 1 for possession of drugs.

Union

Connor Lee Austin, 27, of Starke was arrested by Union deputies on March 29 for larceny.

Wilfred Beaubrum, 53, of Graceville was arrested by Union deputies on March 28 for smuggling contraband into a prison.

According to court papers, while the defendant was an inmate at the Department of Corrections Reception and Medical Center, officers found MDMA, also known as Molly in the defendant’s shirt pocket.

At first appearance, the defendant pleaded no contest, was adjudicated guilty and sentenced to one year and one day in prison.

Thomas Daniel Clarke, 39, of Lawtey was arrested by Union deputies on March 29 for dealing in stolen property and using a two-way communications device to commit a felony.

According to court papers, the defendant cut off the catalytic converter from a truck owned by his sister’s boyfriend and attempted to sell the item to a Lake Butler man.

Before the sale was complete, the buyer called a Union deputy, and put his phone on speaker so the officer could listen in on and record the transaction.

After the sale was complete, deputies arrested the defendant and recovered the $591 he received for the converter.

Quinton Dale Conner, 47, of Lake City was arrested by Union deputies on March 29 for criminal mischief with property damage, larceny and vehicle theft.

Jakira Jermaine Morton, 20, of Gainesville was arrested by Union deputies on March 26 for failure to appear.

Shawn Michael Gibson, 38, of Lake Butler was arrested by Union deputies on March 31 for a conditional release violation, obstructing justice and using a two-way communications device while committing a felony.

Ezekiel Aaron Hedrick, 13, of Lake Butler was arrested by Union deputies on March 31 for failure to appear.

Cody Edward Smith Sr., 31, of High Springs was arrested by Union deputies on March 29 for an out-of-county warrant and failure to appear.

Clay

Scott Edward Bowen, 54, of Keystone Heights was arrested by Clay deputies on March 27 for criminal mischief with property damage.

According to court papers, a manager at Lake Area Ministries noticed a broken window at the facility. She checked surveillance video and observed the defendant break the window with a hammer and then place the tool in a bush near the front door.

Deputies recovered the hammer. The damage to the window was estimated at $500. The manager said LAM has experienced prior incidents with the defendant due to “his erratic behavior.” The arresting officer also said he has had past encounters with the defendant.

Jaycie Lee Goeschel, 21, of Keystone Heights was arrested by Clay deputies on March 27 for possession of not more than 20 grams of marijuana and possession of drug equipment.

Tina Marie Hickok, 54, of Keystone Heights was arrested by Clay deputies on April 1 for burglary and grand theft.

Joshua Aaron Soto, 26, of Keystone Heights was arrested by Clay deputies on March 29 for battery and a conditional release violation.
