Recent arrests in Bradford, Union and Clay

The following individuals were arrested recently by local law enforcement officers in Bradford, Union or Clay (Keystone Heights-area) counties. All defendants are considered innocent until convicted in a court or until pleading guilty or no contest. Information in this report is from law enforcement agencies and court documents, which are public records.

Bradford

Struck child with charging cable

Aaron Ray Griffis, 30, of Lawtey was arrested by Bradford deputies on Aug. 27 for child cruelty.

According to an arrest report, the defendant struck the daughter of his girlfriend in the leg with a phone charging cable, which according to deputies, “left a highly visible mark.” Griffis then pulled the girl off a couch, causing her to hit her head on the floor.

The victim added that the defendant was pulling her hair when her mother intervened to stop the altercation.

Deputies wrote in the report that Griffis is not the biological father of the victim and has no parental rights.

Joshua Bryan Gunter, 30, of Hampton was arrested by Bradford deputies on Aug. 27 for driving with a suspended or revoked license.

Michael Wayne Hall, 47, of Keystone Heights was arrested by Bradford deputies on Sept. 1 for driving with a suspended or revoked license- habitual offender.

Alexander Marco Palazzi, 31, of Pensacola was arrested by Bradford deputies on Aug. 27 for a probation violation.

Chance Marquez Sewell, 24, of Starke was arrested by Starke police on Aug. 28 for aggravated assault.

According to court papers, during a domestic fight, the defendant told an accomplice to shoot the victim, who was in an SUV. The accomplice fired two or three rounds toward the vehicle.

Preston Harley Sheppard, 24, of Starke was arrested by Starke police on Aug. 30 for a probation violation.

Nichole Leigh Stroup, 42, of Melrose was arrested by Bradford deputies on Aug. 29 for a probation violation and an out-of-county warrant.

Desiree Asia Thompson-Huderson, 19, of Starke was arrested by Starke police on Aug. 29 for disorderly intoxication.

Patti Sue Williams, 46, of Starke was arrested by Starke police on Aug. 29 for larceny.

Union

Jennifer Deneane Bryan, 38, of Lake Butler was arrested by Union deputies on Aug. 30 for burglary, larceny, possession of drugs and possession of drug equipment.

Robert Brad Kerce, 37, of Brooker was arrested by Union deputies on Sept. 3 for a probation violation.

Michael Anthony Vinci, 35, of Lake Butler was arrested by Union deputies on Aug. 30 for burglary and criminal mischief with property damage.

Joshua Paul Westinghouse, 37, of Maxville was arrested by Union deputies on Aug. 31 for an out-of-county warrant.

Jesse Wilbert White, 57, was arrested by Union deputies on Sept 4 for disorderly intoxication.

Clay

Zachary Nelson Bryant, 38, of Keystone Heights was arrested by Clay deputies on Aug. 30 for violating a domestic violence injunction.

Martin Paz Ramirez, 34, of Keystone Heights was arrested by Clay deputies on Aug. 27 for driving without a valid license.

Teddy Joseph Stanze, 23. of Keystone Heights was arrested by Clay deputies on Aug. 28 for domestic battery.

Morgan Riley Tindall, 34, of Keystone Heights was arrested by Clay deputies on Aug. 31 for driving with a suspended or revoked license and driving a vehicle without registration.
