The following individuals were arrested recently by local law enforcement officers in Bradford, Union or Clay (Keystone Heights-area) counties. All defendants are considered innocent until convicted in a court or until pleading guilty or no contest. Information in this report is from law enforcement agencies and court documents, which are public records.
Bradford
Deena Louise Crawford, 42, of Hampton was arrested by Bradford deputies on March 14 for child neglect, possession of drug equipment, trafficking in amphetamine and maintaining a public nuisance.
Terry Renna Crawford, 40, of Hampton was arrested by Bradford deputies on March 14 for possession of drugs and maintaining a public nuisance.
Defendant follows ‘how-to’ drug book
Harry James Donaldson, 57, of Starke was arrested by Bradford deputies on March 14 for child neglect and producing drugs.
According to an arrest report, police responded to the defendant’s residence after receiving a Crime Stoppers tip that Donaldson was growing marijuana in his home.
The defendant told police that he grew tomatoes in the house and agreed to let officers search the residence.
Detective Andrew Johnson wrote in an arrest report that officers found temporary tents inside the defendant’s living room. Inside the tents were a green leafy substance, exhaust fans, lights and digital thermometers.
A search of the living room yielded pots, potting soil and a book entitled “Homegrown Marijuana.”
“Post Miranda,” wrote Johnson, “Harry advised that he had been growing marijuana inside of the tents. Harry also explained that he thought he had removed everything from the tents but forgot to clean all the marijuana from the tents.”
Johnson added that police also found 61 grams of marijuana inside a shed on the defendant’s property.
Brandon Emmanuel Hagan, 23, was arrested by Bradford deputies on March 14 for possession of drugs and possession of drug equipment.
Tarik George Harvey, 25, of Jacksonville was arrested by Bradford deputies on March 16 for a probation violation.
Dawn Nicole Hayford, 42, of Jacksonville was arrested on March 11 for burglary.
Charles Lamont Henderson, 45, of Starke was arrested on March 15 for battery.
Kevin Bernard Holton, 38, of Lake Butler was arrested on March 11 for DUI.
Shad Everett Lane, 43, of Starke was arrested by Bradford deputies on March 13 for assault.
Nober Martinez-Ordonez, 26, was arrested on March 11 for driving with a suspended or revoked license.
Samuel A. Morrison, 31, was arrested on March 12 for an out-of-county warrant, burglary and criminal mischief with property damage.
Galven Wynn Parrish, 43, of Lake Butler was arrested on March 13 for an out-of-county warrant.
Steven James Pons, 39, of Starke was arrested on March 14 for aggravated battery.
Brianna Elaine Randolph, 29, of Starke was arrested by Starke police on March 15 for battery.
Francisco Wilfredo Robinson, 41, was arrested on March 12 for an out-of-county warrant.
Caleb Thomas Scoville, 30, of Starke was arrested by Bradford deputies on March 14 for resisting an officer and threatening an officer.
Tatianna Latrice Shannon, 25, of Starke was arrested by Bradford deputies on March 13 for disturbing the peace and disorderly conduct.
Eugene Drayton Shealy, 43, of Hampton was arrested on March 14 for possession of drugs and selling drugs.
Errica Chante Smith, 23, of Starke was arrested by Bradford deputies on March 13 for disturbing the peace and disorderly conduct.
Derek Joseph Trice, 25, of Starke was arrested by Starke police on March 17 for aggravated assault and possession of an unlicensed weapon.
Man arrested for ‘receipt shopping’
Anthony Maynard Watson, 57, of Lake Butler was arrested by Starke police on March 16 for larceny and fraud.
According to a sworn complaint, a Walmart loss prevention officer said the defendant engaged in a practice known as receipt shopping.
“By receipt shopping,” wrote officer Frank Krol in the complaint, “(the loss prevention officer) said Watson will use an old receipt of same or similar items and walks out. So, no suspicion is raised when a door attendant asks to see his receipt. Then Watson leaves the store, passing all points of sale with the items.”
Krol reported that the defendant made off with toys, cookware and accessories valued at $1,427.95 between December 2022 and February 2023.
Union
Brittany Lynn Alphonso, 36, of Lake Butler was arrested by Union deputies on March 16 for a probation violation.
Matthew D. Bassett, 40, of Milbury, Massachusetts was arrested by Union deputies on March 16 for disorderly intoxication.
Jerry Lee Coontz, 58, of Lake Butler was arrested by Union deputies on March 18 for driving with a suspended or revoked license and possession of drugs.
Mechelle Idelle Lee, 31, of Raiford was arrested by Union deputies on March 14 for child abuse and failure to appear.
Jeremiah Thomas Parrish, 40, of Lake Butler was arrested by Union deputies on March 16 for disorderly intoxication.
Lawrence Rice, 36, was arrested by Union deputies on March 14 for aggravated battery by a person detained in a prison or jail and robbery.
William J. Simpson, 62, was arrested by Union deputies on March 14 for aggravated battery on a law enforcement officer and resisting an officer.
Chad Dean Smiley, 41, of Live Oak was arrested by Union deputies on March 17 for possession of a weapon by a convicted felon and dealing in stolen property.
Demarcus J. Taylor, 33, was arrested by Union deputies on March 15 for aggravated battery by a person detained in a prison or jail and robbery.
Jerry L. Williams, 39, was arrested by Union deputies on March 14 for making a false report of a bomb and writing a threat to kill or injure.
Clay
Virginia Mayo Bennett, 52, of Keystone Heights was arrested by Clay deputies on March 13 for possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug equipment.
Noah Jefferson Davis, 41, of Keystone Heights was arrested by Clay deputies on March 11 for driving with a suspended or revoked license and driving a vehicle with no registration.
Brittany Rene Jordan, 34, of Keystone Heights was arrested by Clay deputies on March 12 for trespassing.
