The following individuals were arrested recently by local law enforcement officers in Bradford, Union or Clay (Keystone Heights-area) counties. All defendants are considered innocent until convicted in a court or until pleading guilty or no contest. Information in this report is from law enforcement agencies and court documents, which are public records.
Bradford
Damian Neil Albritton, 29, of Hawthorne was arrested by Bradford deputies on Jan. 14 for an out-of-county warrant.
Lewis Alexander Jr., 60, of Raiford was arrested by Bradford deputies on Jan. 13 for burglary and larceny.
Hanna Elizabeth Anderson, 23, of Starke was arrested by Bradford deputies on Jan. 12 for reckless driving and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Peggy Sue Barton, 54, of Macclenny was arrested by Starke police for DUI.
Preston Lee Chestnut, 21, of White Springs was arrested by Bradford deputies on Jan. 11 for an out-of-county warrant.
Christopher Lee Crawford, 33, of Lawtey was arrested by Starke police on Jan. 13 for possession of drugs, possession of drug equipment and destroying evidence.
Robin Michelle Dampier, 30, of Old Town was arrested by Bradford deputies on Jan. 10 for a probation violation.
Arthur Lavern Desue, 58, of Starke was arrested by Starke police on Jan. 14 for selling drugs and possession of drugs.
Jonathan Austin Deutsch, 42, of Ocala was arrested by Starke police on Jan. 10 for assault and battery.
According to an arrest report, the defendant’s ex-girlfriend told police that she and the defendant were arguing about their relationship when the defendant slapped the victim and threatened to cut her throat.
Anthony Dwayne French, 59, of Starke was arrested by Starke police on Jan. 13 for selling cocaine and possession of cocaine.
Christine W. Fugatt, 41, of Callahan was arrested by Bradford deputies on Jan. 8 for an out-of-county warrant.
Shantel Tonjia Latrece Guion, 29, of Starke was arrested by Bradford deputies on Jan. 11 for possession of cocaine.
Marcel Vashawn Henderson, 48, of Starke was arrested by Bradford deputies on Jan. 11 for driving with a suspended or revoked license.
James Todd Hilliard, 50, of Starke was arrested by Bradford deputies on Jan. 11 for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
According to an arrest report, the victim told deputies that the defendant pulled out in front of him on Madison Street in Lawtey.
After the victim avoided the collision and blew his horn, the defendant exited his truck, and during an argument with the victim, pulled both a knife and gun, threatening the man.
Winford Alphonso Howell, 41, of Alachua was arrested by Starke police and Bradford deputies for battery, driving with a suspended or revoked license and possession of marijuana.
Rotissia Milwanda Irving, 43, of Starke was arrested by Starke police on Jan. 13 for selling cocaine and possession of cocaine.
Betsey Iris Johnson, 38, of Jacksonville was arrested by Bradford deputies on Jan. 14 for a probation violation.
Zoykynda Branarri Long, 18, of Gainesville was arrested by Bradford deputies on Jan. 11 for failure to appear.
Randall Eugene Manning, 40, of Starke was arrested by Starke police on Jan. 13 for driving with a suspended or revoked license.
Ronald Dean McCloud, 29, of Green Cove Springs was arrested by Bradford deputies on Jan. 8 for battery and trespassing.
According to an arrest report, the defendant’s girlfriend told deputies McCloud punched her in the face and choked her until she passed out. The incident occurred at the victim’s home, and deputies found an active trespass warning against the defendant for the property.
Eddie Gene Padgett, 34, of Maxville was arrested by Lawtey police on Jan. 9 for larceny and fraud.
According to a sworn complaint filed by Bradford deputies, in May of 2021 the defendant purchased $162 in merchandise from a Starke auto parts retailer, charging the purchases to the account of a timber company. A timber company employee told deputies the defendant did not have permission to charge the purchases to the company’s account.
Danielle Perez, 34, of Lake City was arrested by Bradford deputies on Jan. 11 for dealing in stolen property and using a two-way communications device while committing a felony.
Jakeal Damon Simmons, 27, of Starke was arrested by Starke police on Jan. 13 for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and a conditional release violation.
According to an arrest report, the defendant, while arguing with one of four passengers in a vehicle said, “you better go find someone else to play with before I shoot up the car.”
Police detained the defendant nearby and located a .22 caliber weapon in plain sight within the vehicle. Simmons denied making the threats.
Police also found an active pretrial release order for domestic battery under which Simmons was prohibited from possessing firearms.
Menietha Patricia Spencer, 58 of Starke was arrested by Bradford deputies on Jan. 10 for selling cocaine, possession of cocaine and a probation violation.
Shawn Devon Steward, 43, of Jacksonville was arrested by Bradford deputies on Jan. 13 for driving with a revoked or suspended license and reckless driving.
Kaitlyn Nicole Watkins, 26, of Starke was arrested on Jan. 9 by Bradford deputies for a probation violation.
Sean Donovan White, 32, of Starke was arrested by Starke police on Jan. 13 for battery and false imprisonment.
According to an arrest report, the defendant’s girlfriend told deputies they were arguing about their relationship when the defendant grabbed the victim by the hair and began swinging her around aggressively to the point that her glasses fell off. When the victim attempted to leave through a front gate, the defendant held the gate shut, until the defendant’s mother intervened, allowing the victim to leave.
Union
Lewis Alexander Jr., 59, of Raiford was arrested by Union deputies on Jan. 12 for possession of drugs and possession of drug equipment.
Jesse Bryant Carter, 30, of Lake Butler was arrested by Union deputies on Jan. 10 for vehicle theft.
Donna Susan Green, 59, of Raiford was arrested by Union deputies on Jan. 13 for aggravated assault.
Howard Frederick Redding III, 37, of Lake Butler was arrested by Union deputies on Jan. 10 for larceny and possession of a weapon by a felon.
According to an arrest report the victim told deputies she saw the defendant leave her home with a white garbage bag. Soon after, the victim noticed the firearms were missing. Redding later admitted to a deputy that he took the two pistols from the house because another man was now living in the victim’s home. The deputy also recovered the Ruger .38 caliber and Desert Eagle .40 caliber, which were buried near the Santa Fe River in Worthington Springs.
Clay
Gary Edward Boyd, 41, was arrested by Clay deputies in Keystone Heights for violating a domestic violence injunction.
Lisa Renee Hunt, 34, was arrested by Clay deputies in Keystone Heights for a probation violation.
Shawn Adam Seiling, 48, was arrested by Clay deputies in Keystone Heights for domestic battery.
Travis Allen Wright, 36, was arrested by Clay deputies in Keystone Heights on Jan. 10 for domestic battery, resisting an officer and violating a domestic violence injunction.
