Union County High School’s baseball team will host a double-header against Madison County on Friday, May 1, in the Region 3-Rural semifinals.

The first game will begin at 4 p.m., with the second game starting 30 minutes prior to the first game’s conclusion.
It is a best-of-three series. If a third game is necessary, it will be played at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 2.
The series’ original schedule was changed due to expected rain on May 2, which resulted in a double-header on May 1 as opposed to playing both the second and if-necessary games on May 2.
Union (18-7) is the top seed in the region, while Madison (15-7) is the fourth seed.
If the Tigers win the series, they’ll host the championship series on Friday and Saturday, May 8-9. Union would play either second seed Aucilla Christian (19-6) or third seed Lafayette (14-9).
